As we bid adieu to Candace's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Candace has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Sims; and her grandparents, Frank, Loretta Mundy (Starr), Ernest and Donna Sims (Rolf).
She is survived by: her children, Kristeena Romero of St. Michael and Brandon Borchardt of Eagan, Minnesota; her granddaughter Juliette Wood of Maple Grove, Minnesota; and her sisters, Melissa Affeldt of Hanover and Carla Bramley of Eagan, Minnesota..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cahill Funeral Chapel (516 Cherry St E, Sisseton, SD 57262). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, South (516 Cherry St E, Sisseton, SD 57262).
