He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Edward and Alvina Woitas; his son Michael; his siblings, Mary Helen, Mary Dorothy and James Joseph (Jackie) of Mapleton; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Marie and Lawrence Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Woitas of Minnesota Lake; his sons, Richard (Charlene) of Mankato and Dale of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Keely Miller (Josiah) of Mankato, Derek, Parker Landsteiner of Mankato and Jillian Landsteiner of Kansas City, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Holden, Hudson and Gemma Miller of Mankato; his siblings, Paul (Shellie) of Mapleton, Margaret Hawker (Dale) of Rochester, Jeanie Van Rossum (Ron) of East Greenville, Judy Johnson (Mark Hueper) of Frost and Marie Rigdon (Chris) of Mapleton; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Woitas (Laurie) of Waterville and Jerome "Jerry" Woitas (Yang) of Kingsville, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
