He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Voges and Emma Voges (Bruhns); his sister Audrey Cooper; his siblings-in-law, Mary Scofield, Marlys Segar (Mark), Kay Sonnek (Ambrose), Jerry Evenson (Janice) and Paul Evenson; and his wife Phyllis.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jessica Anderson, JoAnna Helgeson (Dana), Tina Kozisek (Jason), Jennie Anderson (Aaron Wendt), Jamie Shure (Jason), Tara Nelson (Ryan), Katie Wigen (Sky), Cody Berndt (Kari Darrington), Brandon Berndt (Kelsey), Jeremiah Voges and Lillian Voges; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Jordyn, August, Caiden, Madisyn, Anastazia, Calvin, Trey and Brynlee; his significant other Margaret; and his son Gordy Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
