She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pagel and Elda Pagel (Schrupp); her siblings, Erma Schlorf and Ewald Pagel; her siblings-in-law, Stanley Schlorf and Ruth Pagel; and her parents-in-law, Les and Ruth Champagne.
She is survived by: her children, Sande Champagne of Russell and Tim Champagne of Minneota; her grandchildren, Casey Champagne of Canby, Abby Champagne (Terry Giesen) of Slayton and Jack Champagne of Sioux Falls; her siblings, Evelyn Berg (Bob) of New Ulm and Duane Pagel (Marion) of Marshall; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Champagne of Woodbury and Carol Hendrickson of Woodbury. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Occupancy limits and social distancing must be observed throughout all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to American Red Cross.
