It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marilyn Rita Russell of Minneota, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 82, on January 16, 2021. She was predeceased by: her spouse Booker T. Russell (Russ); her brother Les; her sisters-in-law, Marlene, Joan and Donna; and her nephews, Paul and Ken.
She is survived by: her stepchild Russ'; her brothers, Allan and Charles; her nieces, Sandy Josephson, Dona Rehome (Steve), Merry Berkelo (Dave) and Ann Hanson (Troy); her nephew Doug Josephson (Kim); and also, Gina Williams, Gregory Russell (Sara) and Audie "Skip" Russell. She is also survived by many friends and relatives.
Due to COVID restrictions, a time of remembrance will be held at a later date at Hope Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
In Marilyn's memory, her family requests that donations be given to Minneota American Legion Auxiliary Unit 199, The Society for the Preservation of Minneota's Heritage (SPMH), Hope Lutheran Church, or to the donor's choice.
