With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Kern of Minneota, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schiller and Mary Schiller (Lantgen); her husband Milo Kern; and her siblings, Vernon Schiller, Donna Pirilia, Marvin Schiller, Donald Schiller and Leona Hentges.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Stangeland (Ron) of Brookings, SD, Michael Kern (Jean) of Dayton, MN, Dennis Kern (Sherry) of Porter, MN, Lynell Sunderland (Steve) of Montevideo, MN and Lorraine Meulebroeck (Dennis) of Balaton, MN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
