He was predeceased by: his mother Margarette Osborn (Rudolph); his son Andrew Osborn; his father George Osborn; his sisters, Marge Kvalnes and Clara Hughes; his brothers-in-law, Jesse Hughes and Russ Paulson; and his parents-in-law, Rudy and Viola Paulson.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Osborn; his daughter Julie Osborn; his grandchildren, Ryan Osborn and Jacob Johnson; and his siblings, Doris Johansen of Burlington, ND, Helen Hartman (Shorty) of Edgeley, ND, Fred Osborn of Powell, WY, Mary Jansen (Doug) of Lisbon, ND and Lil Muske (Don) of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
