He was predeceased by: his father LeRoy Bjergo; and his brother Ralph Bjergo. He is survived by: his mother Marlys Bjergo; his children, Matthew Bjergo, Justine Wewers (Justin) and Jessi Jane Bjergo; his grandchildren, Kennedy and Charlotte Wewers; his siblings, Desiree Nelson, Bart Bjergo (Rami), Suzette Younggren (Paul Kottke) and Rochelle Woods (Braun); and his nieces and nephews, Alisha, Jessica, Benjamin, Don, Joseph, Derek, Kyle, Lindsay and Kaden.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri (3045 Park Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55407).
