He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Maetzold and Genevieve Maetzold. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Maetzold (Diana) of St. Cloud, Hugh Maetzold (Patricia) and Paul Maetzold (Connie) of Lino Lakes; his grandchildren, Cole Maetzold (Megan), Claire Gray (Hudson), Jonathan Maetzold (Antonia), Andy, Emily, Bethany and Lily Maetzold; and his great grandchild Maverick Maetzold.

In lieu of flowers , memorials are preferred to Camp Unistar.
