It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Richard Karkela (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Karkela and Emilie Skoe; and his brother David. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Annie, Ryan Keiper, Greta, Erica and Megan Weeks; and his siblings, Larry of Plymouth, Karen (Cush Minar) of White Bear and Ron (Linda) of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
