He is survived by: his children, Caleb Hicks (Pankuri Goraksha-Hicks), Megan Bekwelem (Wobo), Rachel Hicks and Whitney Heimerl (Marlon); the parent of his children Claire Paulene; his grandchildren, Nyasa, Arlo, Malakhi, Zemira and Fiora; and his brother Jim Hicks (Celeste). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
