He was predeceased by: his parents, Mort Layer and Margaret Layer. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim (Judy), Dennis (Mary), Kevin, Brian (Joan), Paul, John (John), Debby Layer, Susie Milnar (Dick), Katy Preusse (Greg), Marcy Stockinger and Eileen DeMaria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
