With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Newman (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on May 25, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Newman and Annette Newman; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Halpern Newman; his stepson Simon Halpern (Emily Hruby); his grandsons, Mac and Emerson; his siblings, Louis Newman (Amy Eilberg) and Jane Newman (Amy Lange); and his sister-in-law Randi Newman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Steve preferred to Sholom Home East or Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis.
