He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Rosen and Sol Rosen; his brother Mike; and his sister-in-law Toni. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughters, Sheri (Tony) and Jennifer (Tim); and his grandchildren, Amanda, RaeAnn (Kevin), Matthew, Lainey and Jack.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Temple Israel (2323 Fremont Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55405). A shiva will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Rick and Elaine's Residence (3531 Oakton Dr, Hopkins, MN 55305).
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The National Kidney Foundation, to support others fighting kidney disease, as Rick did for many years. Alternatively, a donation to the Jewish Family and Children's Service (JFCS) would honor his lifelong commitment to the Jewish community in the Twin Cities.
