He was predeceased by: his wife Joane; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Amelia Rau; his siblings-in-law, Gary Oelkers, Carol Meyer, Arle Rau, Mary Schneider and Marlene Rau; his cousin Floyd Nardinger; his nephew Bradley Rau; and his niece Tiffany Rau.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Liffrig (Mary) of Prior Lake, MN, Rhonda Pratt (Joe) of Rice, MN, Reed Liffrig of Mazeppa, MN, Lori Liffrig of Springfield, VA and Nicole Molife (Sipho) of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Jenna Kuehn (AJ), Andy Liffrig, Kyle Pratt, Eric Liffrig, Sami Czech (Joe), Ali Liffrig, Bryn Liffrig and Louis Molife; his great grandchildren, Avery and Atley Kuehn; his sisters, Irene McGuire (Jerry) and Janice Sanders (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Edward Meyer, Jack Meyer (Ardeth), Evelyn Stiller, Judy Rau, Jean Oelkers, Jerry Rau (Diane) and Tom Rau.
