He was predeceased by: his wife Ferna; his parents, Harry Heifetz and Viola Heifetz; and his sister LouAnn Heifetz Bongard. He is survived by: his children, Steven, Andrea Heifetz, Lois Held, Pattye and Byron Hechter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Beth El Synagogue, or donor's choice.
