With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rachel Theresa Pennig (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in Saint Augusta, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Henkemeyer and Eleanor Henkemeyer (Krebs); her husband Warren Pennig; her sister Lois Duwal; her nephew Mark Duwal; and her brothers-in-law, Henry Duwal and Sy Janochoski.
She is survived by: her sister Corrine Janochoski of St. Cloud; and her nieces and nephews, Deb Smith (Dewey), Karen Crabtree (Rich), Diane Emmanuel (Dillip), Tom Janochoski (Mona), Jim Janochoski (Joyce Mrosla) and Dan Janochoski (LeAnn). She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews and friends.
