We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2025, at the age of 83, Philip Walstien (Minneapolis, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his sons, Michael (Amy) and Jack (Kirsten); and his grandchildren, Maxwell, Evelyn, Reid and Audrey.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St W, Minneapolis, MN 55416). A shiva will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Friends of the IDF, American Diabetes Association (direct links below) or donor's choice.
