She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leith and Gladys LaRoque; her husband Herman S. Fairbanks, Jr.; her children, Tamara, Thomas and Guy; and her sisters, Sandra, Delores, Maxine and Margaret.
She is survived by: her son Devery; her grandchildren, Melvin, Joseph, Derek, Kyle, Sandra, Thomas, Caitlin and Evan; and her nieces, Debbie, Vala, Wally and Laurie. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
