He was predeceased by: his sister Ardell; and his wife Janice. He is survived by: his children, Melissa and Matthew (Ann); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Tina (Jeff), Jennifer, Eleanor, Daniel, Sylvia and Charlotte. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
