It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica L. Stokvis of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jerome "Jerry" Hellerstedt; her brother Mark Hellerstedt; her aunt Darlene (Jerry); her uncle Dean; her father-in-law Hank Stokvis; and her brother-in-law Paul Hanold.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Stokvis; her mother Erika Legler-Hellerstedt; her stepsons, Gary Jr. and Tony Stokvis (Kristy); her grandchildren, Keegan, Kinsley and Keeley; her sister Marlene Hanold; her nieces, Carla (Seth) and Erika Hanold; her nephew Andrew; her aunt Liz Newgard; her cousins, Gina, Cheryl (Vernon), Stephen (Dementrie), Renee (Chris) and Terry (Joy); and her pet Luci.
