He was predeceased by: his parents, Avraham Gekker and Miriam Gekker; and his siblings, Nahum Gekker and Emma Fridman. He is survived by: his wife Genya Gekker; his daughter Alla Geretz (Rafi) of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Anna Stern (Dovid), Talie Geretz, Sofie Geretz and Alex Geretz; and his great grandchildren, Reuven and Pinchas Stern.
