He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Maxey and Leonard Maxey; his brother Kelly Maxey (Colleen Maxey); his nephew Joe Maxey; his brother-in-law Jim Tanberg (Grand); and his pet Kira.

He is survived by: his daughter Kate; his son-in-law Tai Nord Maxey; his siblings, Tom Maxey (Connie), Terry Maxey (Kathy), Eileen Weber (Larry), Kathy Blachfelner (Ade), Sherry Tanberg, Patsy Skaja and Mary Maxey; his sister-in-law Kathy Maxey; and his pet Cy Graveside. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends.
