He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Klein and Suzanna Klein; and his siblings, George Klein, John Klein and Maria Corey.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Benson; his children, David Klein (Charlene) and Theresa Page (Joe); his grandchildren, Lauren Seimon (Remington), Maxwell Klein, Charles Page and Spencer Klein (Bailey); his great grandchild Remy Seimon; and his sister Frieda Grove (Gary).

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Church (8901 France Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55431). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
