He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Gieseke and Betty Gieseke. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gieseke; his children, Michael Gieseke Jr. (Kelly) and Cindy Wiltgen (Brian); his grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew and Kaitlin; and his siblings, Patrick Gieseke, Janie Vail, James Gieseke (Jimbo), Kathy Gieseke and Jackie Gieseke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
