He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Hanel (Dahlgren). He is survived by: his wife Linda Hanel (Menden); his daughter Tasha Hanel; and his siblings, Lisa Christopherson (Keith), Lauri Etzell (Mike) and Steve Hanel.
