He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phyllis Jourdain (Roberts) and James "Jim" Jourdain; his brothers, Roy Roberts, Arthur Bellanger, Dwight Bellanger, Sr. and David Bellanger; his grandparents, Charles, Jennie Roberts and Theresa Jourdain; his wife Celeste Jourdain of Minneapolis; his children, Lynae Lawrence-Eckert (Lucho) of St. Paul, David Sr., Ryan (Alicia Jourdain) and Levin Jourdain-Hanks (Renika Love) of White Earth; his siblings, Lorraine Bellanger (Dennis), Theresa, Susie, Veronica Jourdain, Daniel and Tiny Bellanger (Lovey); his aunt Alberta Zamora; his uncles, Norman and Douglas Roberts; his mother-in-law Geneva Lawrence; his siblings-in-law, Diane Bellanger, Andrea, Colette, Carol Lawrence, Norman, Clayton Lawrence and Dennis Eckman; and his grandchildren, Jaycie Lawrence, Katrina Jourdain, David Jourdain, Jr., Karma Love, Kimora Love and Guy Ragsdale IV. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
