It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Lavonne Larson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Charlotte and Vernon; her children, Wayne and Linda; and her great grandchild Jacob.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles Larson (Nancy), Clem Larson (Mick) and Larry Larson (Leah); and her brothers, Glen and Delbert Schueller. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

“I don’t know how to say all this but I’ll try. Melva cared for my children, Jason and Robin when I needed someone special. I truly believe she was sent to me. I loved her and so did my kids. She was a constant source of caring, support, wisdom and loving. It’s hard to imagine a world without her…she was an angel…oh yes, and her laugh…I can hear that in my mind right now.
