It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine J. Brown (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in Warner, Alberta, who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Leffingwell and Minnie Leffingwell; her siblings, Vivian Kutcheran (William), Lois Fleming (Howard) and Frank "Sonny" Leffingwell; and her sons-in-law, Michael Groteke and Richard Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Brown of Luverne; her daughters, Cally Viereck (Jan) of Brandon and Anastasia Brown of Brandon; her granddaughter Shannon Risnes (Chris) of Sioux Falls; and her great grandchild Mackenzie Risnes of Sioux Falls.
Maxine was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and in August of 2017 made the move to the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills, Minnesota where she died peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2020 at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 2 days.
