In loving memory of Maureen Detroyer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who departed this world on March 31, 2025 at the age of 84. Maureen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maureen Donovan (Kelly) and Joseph "Poppy" Donovan; her sister Carole (Donovan); her brother-in-law Carl Gene Widing; her stepson Michael A. (Brigitte S. Miller); her nephew Dale Widing; and her brother-in-law Anthony Gambino (Tony).
She is survived by: her husband Maurice J Detroyer (Moe) of Concord Township, OH; her sister-in-law Sheila (Detroyer) Gambino; her children, Richard J Miller (Therese) of West Bend, WI and Susan Vann of Spanaway, WA; her niece Kathy Widing; and also, Dale, Kevin Widing, Ken, Denise Balsiger (Widing) of Andover, OH, Nels Widing (Robin Rancourt), Shane, Leslie (Gambino), Kelly of Newbury Park, CA, Jeffrey and Lori Gambino.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (401 North St, Chardon, OH 44024). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Redhawk Grille (7481 Auburn Rd, Painesville, OH 44077).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any memorials be sent to the Lake Humane Society in Mentor, OH, or to the Shriner's Children's Hospitals at: Shrinerschildrens.org.
