She was predeceased by: her sister Patricia Madson; and her sister-in-law Deborah Cornils. She is survived by: her sister Faye Dorwart (Gerald); her daughters, Christine Bent (Evon), Stephanie Halvorson (Derek) and Carolyn Scherer (David); and her grandchildren, Max, Spenser, Greta, Gabe, Matthew and Thomas. She is also survived by her six nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Pacific Lutheran University School of Nursing.
