It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Akron (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Poisson and Gertrude Poisson (Savelkoul); and her son-in-law Larry Houg. She is survived by: her brother James Poisson of Rhode Island; her children, Bridget Arneson (Richard), Maureen Akron, Paul Akron (Wendy) and Colleen Houg; her grandchildren, Nicholas Bennett (Nicole), April Arneson, Ashley Dahlman (Nolan), Brandon Akron, Andrew Arneson, Rachel Gerzic (Anel), Amber Seese (Greg) and Heather Langiewicz; her great grandchildren, Mikayla Bennett, Liam Dahlman, Brooklyn Dahlman and Ela Gerzic of Minnesota; and her former husband Bruce Akron.
In light of concern regarding the community spread of Covid-19 the family has decided to have a private Mass at St. Boniface Catholic Church and burial at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery.
