She was predeceased by: her parents, Ester Mays and Otis Mays; her son Laramiun Lamont Byrd (Ed's); her stepson Mandel Lee Guy Roy; her stepgrandchild Devonté Rashawn Coppage; and her granddaughter Leila Pearson-Agenou.
She is survived by: her husband Edroy; her granddaughter Rosalynda Michelle Boykin; her siblings, Otis Mays, Mildred Martin and Leola Kirk; her granddaughter Rosalynda Boykin; her great grandchild Za'Riyah Boykin; and her stepdaughters, Quiana, Kesa (North), Lisa, Carrie, Lesandia and Kyla. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
