It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jo Steenerson (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dugal Christenson and Margaret Christenson; and her siblings, Roger and Marlene. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Sandy), David (Linda) and Paul (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Marlena, Blake and Charlie.

Memorials preferred to Crescent Cove Respite and Hospice Home for Kids at 4201 Bass Lake Road Brooklyn Center, MN 55429.

“Our deepest sympathies are extended to John and the entire Steenerson family. We have been privileged to have been neighbors of John and Mary Jo throughout our years as cabin-owners on East Lake Sylvia. From Spring to Fall, we enjoyed catching up with one another, especially rejoicing in the accomplishments and developmental milestones of our respective grandchildren! We loved Mary Jo's wit, wisdom, and determination, and will miss her dearly. Barbara and John Devlin”
