She was predeceased by: her parents, George Leighton and Garnett Leighton; her sisters, Georgie Cline and Betty Myers; and her husband James Johnston, Jr. (Jim).
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Johnston (Zana) and Doug Johnston (Sheila); her grandchildren, Scott Johnston (Andrea) and Pat Johnston (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Avery, Connor, Quinn, Morgan, Noelle and Shea Johnston; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ian and Erin McFarland.
