He is survived by: his wife Judy Penske; his children, Mary Ellen Busiahn and James Marvin Penske (Jennifer); his sister La Von Wells; his grandchildren, Laura Smith (Marshall), Lydia Luepke (Casey), Veronica Bever (Timm), Julia Reiner (Tyler), Bradley Penske (Ashley), Kari Wensauer (Brandon) and Leah Siverhus (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Bronson, Madeline, Isabelle, Jackson, Audrina, Lincoln, Baby Smith, Charlotte, Addison, Stetson Luepke, Noah Bever, Emma, Beau Reiner, Everly, Barrett, Luella Penske, Lucas Wensauer, Waylon, Lennon and Baby Siverhus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
