He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Thorsen and Virginia Thorsen; and his siblings, Barbara Thorsen and Peter Thorsen. He is survived by: his grandson Wild; his wife Sandi Thorsen; his daughter Kate (Ben); his grandsons, Tanner, Finn and Brody; his daughter Mandi (Joel); his grandsons, Marvin, Vinny, Franklin and Louie; his siblings, Dave Thorsen (Glenys), Carole (Rust) and Marilyn (Paul Thompson); and his sister-in-law Colleen Thorsen. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.
In honor of Marv's memory, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Friends of Como to preserve conservation, animal care, and horticulture with barrier-free access for all or Our Lady of Peace Hospice, an organization that provided compassionate care and support during his final days.
