With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mardel Hazel Jonson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Signar Jonson and Mabel Jonson (Johnson); her grandfather Johnson; her siblings, Maurice Jonson, Jimmy Jonson and Joan Frick; her siblings-in-law, Don Frick and Myrna Jonson; her son Morris Cox; her nephew Larry Frick; and her pets, Patches, Tosha and Wally.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Cox; her children, Douglas Cox (Barbara) of Hermosa, SD and JoDei Marcella of Duluth, MN; and her sister-in-law Pat Jonson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Mardel's memory would be preferred to the charity of the donor's choice.
