He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Shelton and Lucile Shelton. He is survived by: his brother Blake; his wife Diane; his daughters, Stephanie Tousley (Cameron) and Sarah Gregory (Andrew); and his brothers, Philip Shelton (Diane) and Robert Shelton (Deborah). He is also survived by nephews, cousins, and friends.
He used humor to get through life's difficulties, including making up jokes after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
