He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jr. Frank and Auguste Frank. He is survived by: his wife Alice "Allie" Hanaw; his son Kenny; his grandchildren, Debbi (McGovern) and Lisa (Rasmussen); his children, Debbi and Lisa; and his sisters, Barbara (Okun) and Judy (Hammes). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
