He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hamant and Florence Hamant (Berger). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Greene; his children, Jane Cornell, Tim Hamant, Jill Herrera (Sam) and Carol Daniel (Mike); his grandchildren, Noah Cornell, Grant, William, Andrew Hamant, Mikel Hill, Samantha, Sophia Herrera, Lauren Propson (Joe), Matthew and Nathan Daniel; his siblings, Michael Hamant (Sharon), Stephen Hamant (Diane) and Marilyn Rogers (Glenn); and his sister-in-law Virginia Greene.

Larry lost his battle with Alzheimer's, but he almost always had a smile on his face and was an absolute joy to be around.
