He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Olive; his sister Deanne Marti; and his nephew Steve. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; and his children, Sandy Moe (Mike Smith), Callyne Nash (Scott) and Darren Schultz (Angie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as well as many friends and extended family.
