He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jean Pickett (Joe) and John Kern (Anna); and his uncle Michael Pickett. He is survived by: his father John Kern (Fran); his sister Jeannie Kern; his aunts and uncles, Joseph Pickett, Cathy Pickett, Susan, William Pickett, Jennifer Nebbia and Frank (Ann Lehman); and his pet Dax. He is also survived by numerous cousins, dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markiewicz Funeral Home (108 E Illinois St, Lemont, IL 60439). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
