The memory of Katherine Patricia McMullen (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her former husband Marcellus J.; her parents, Catherine Lanigan Casey Hughes and Eugene Casey; her siblings, Mary Jean Casey Kelly and Richard Casey; her brother-in-law Norm Meier; her nephews, Mark McMullen and David Meier; and her great grandchildren, Marcellus Joseph III, Leann, Jean, Rick (Diaz), Tim, Tricia, Mike, Julie, Barb, Robert (Gardetto), Patrick, Mona, Kevin, Paula, Terry and Anneli.
She is survived by: her sisters, Kathleen Meier and Carol Schumacher (Leon); her in-laws, Kathie Casey and Gerald Kelly; and her husband Butch. She is also survived by nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (3637 11th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
