He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Elonda Shepherd, Jeanna Fletcher (David), Karl A Jefferson, Iona Shepherd and Elbert (Natasha); his grandchildren, Donaldray, Javonte', Senja, Sydnie and Julian; his great grandchildren, Kyiah, Kali, Isaiah, Tamari, Illumi, Choji and Sione; and his siblings, Cynthia Mansaray, Orlando Shepherd, Beulah Verdell and William Verdell (Brenda).
