She is survived by: her children, David Hovda (Tracy) and Kari Schlachter (Scott); her grandchildren, Alison Anthony (John), Scott Hovda, Matthew Hovda, Sam Schlachter (Katie Rick), Sydney Schlachter and Dylan Schlachter (Lizzie); her sister Martha Hopeman; and her brother-in-law David Hovda (Ann).
Memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Orchestra, Trillium Woods Scholarship fund or the donor's preference.
