She is survived by: her husband Ed; her daughter Cathy; her sisters, Betty Anne and Mary Venarda (DeDe); her daughter Janice (Meri); her grandchildren, Anny (Kayla), Sarah Jo (James) and Rosa; her son Ed (Dori); her grandchildren, Lance (Mollyjean) and Jessica (Sean); her son-in-law Steve; her sons, Andrew (Francesca) and Evan; and her great grandchildren, Amadea, Addison, Autumn Jo, Colletta Jo, Julia, Kai, Kamya, Keyon, Nova and Owen. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, neighbors, students, friends, and caregivers who became extended family.

In spite of the pandemic, Jo's family, was given the opportunity to join her for a final gathering.
