It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Harry Townsend (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Townsend and Harold Townsend; his brother Bill Townsend; and his brother-in-law Vern Splinter. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Ellsworth, WI; his daughters, Tracy Johns (Paul), Treva Townsend and Julie Plante (Mike); his grandchildren, Sydney, Samantha, Gavin, Alyssa, Molly, Andrew, Benjamin, Margaret and Nicholas; his great grandchild Brynley; his stepsons, Jesse Thurmes (Lisa) and Jason Thurmes (Stella); his stepgrandchildren, Mattie, Sam, Nadia and Hayden; his sister-in-law Carol Townsend; and also, Pat Splinter, Reggie Leyda, Ruth Regnier, Milo Whipple (Renee), Ira Whipple (Linda), Orville Whipple and Ann Whipple.
