He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Jr.; and his wife Dorothy (Loraine). He is survived by: his children, Lisa Nerheim (Steve), Lynn Richards (Neal), Tim Mezzenga (Cyndy), Greg Mezzenga (Kathy), Jeanne Nicklason (Brian) and Thomas Mezzenga. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo (2739 Stinson Blvd NE, St Anthony, MN 55418). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
