He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Cornelius Isaac Wilkens and Mary Janet Smith Wilkens. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Gebhart; his daughters, Laura Idso (Joseph) and Karen Ess (Troy); his grandchildren, Alexandra Idso (Taylor Nord), Nicholas Idso, Madelyn, Marissa and Tristan Ess; his siblings, Paul Wilkens (Sue) and Lois Bock (Mickey Oliver); his siblings-in-law, Mike, Keith Gebhart (Deb), Leanne Loeschke (Ken), Lenai Lauritson (Larry) and Ginny Mills (Kirk); and his close friend Bob McCallum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
